Have had a FitBit Versa which is great for lifestyle stuff. Looks good. Tracks steps, heart rate and sleep. But it is made for casual workouts.

But it doesn't have a GPS and has to connect to my phone which I am positive is not giving me accurate mile paces on my runs and mile splits in general.

Thinking about going with the Garmin Forerunner 245. Currently $250 but has built in GPS along with a lot of heart rate stats. I don't need all the crazy deep details of the more expensive versions. I just need an accurate GPS.

Any thoughts? Just want accurate mile splits and pacing.
