I have to wonder if the Network feels obligated to keep showing and trying to support the lower revenue sports like Gymnastics and softball over Baseball for example. I was really hoping that the SEC network would make it much easier to see more SEC baseball.
Even though TN still appears down, it would be nice to see the more of the strongest conference of any sport (SEC baseball) play more.
It seems every time I check they are showing softball. Will they monitor ratings and adjust to show more men's sports? Or will the SEC office keep pressure on them to show a balance of sports to try and get some interest in the sports that cost the universities lots of money without much in return? Will be interesting I think.
Even though baseball isn't a huge money maker, since they give so much less in scholarship money, and the potential is there for good tv ratings.....I'm sure it could start to be much more of a money maker.
