There have been rumors for a while now that they will eventually move the tourney from Hoover to the new Sounds stadium in Nashville. Anybody know a timeframe for when this could/should happen?
Seems like a no brainer to me. I bet attendance would triple. The stadium is much better and there is obviously way more to do in Nashville......hotels/restaurants/bars/an actual downtown.
The thing is you have to entertain these fans for more than just the game. At any given time only 2 programs are actually playing a game, that means there are up to 10 fanbases sitting around in the area looking for things to keep them entertained/occupied.
Currently I would never even consider going to Hoover, Alabama for this but if it was in Nashville I would definitely consider making the weekend trip for it
