Other teams have 2nd string QB's capable of managing the game & some have been quite successful in 2020....MO,Ga,SC.
What has happened is they grossly misjudged JG's "improvement", and are now stuck.
Fatboy could slim down the gameplan for Bailey or Maurer,but it's just the nature of JP to be risk averse from an offensive point of view (why do we see Tillman,Johnson, Keyton for most all snaps)...omitting the talented freshman WR"s.
It's on the coaches, JG is what he is and Fatboy wants to have the playbook done his way, whether it works or not with current talent.
