Obviously he could be special on offense. But I feel like the kid could be an immediate shutdown corner. Shoop said he's a 1st round talent at CB and lamented losing him to Offense. A shutdown corner is among the most valuable players in football. It's almost unquestionable he would add more value at CB than on offense, where we have several other potential all-SEC talents.
I understood it initially because we were supposed to be set in the secondary, but we aren't struggling on offense at skill positions. We desperately need help at CB and we are giving up deep pass after deep pass.
Wish the staff would give it some thought. But he's going to be special either way.
