Shoop did a marvelous job as a defensive coordinator at Vandy. So here's the question. Are the remaining athletes on the current Vol team (minus our injured defensive stars JRM/CS/DKJr) better than, equal to, or worse than the athletes he had at his disposal at Vandy?
Unless they're worse, doesn't this give more cause for optimism against A.T.M. than the Vols are getting credit for among the pundits?
