What was it, in your opinion?
Several folks were talking about the USC, Jr. game last year, so I had to watch it again. Loved how the crowd came to life about halfway through the third quarter... it was as loud as I can remember Neyland Stadium getting since the Oklahoma game.
But getting the Muschamp monkey off our collective backs wasn't the turning point for me... it was the time when our guys pushed the pile against 'Bama. That UT-'Bama game seems always to be decided by the team that plays more physically, imposing its will on the other team... so, for our guys to push the pile against our most storied rival is, for me, the most clear-cut sign of a culture shift in the program, not just the season.
Icing on the cake is Pruitt's call on icing the kicker. Absolutely zero foxtrots given.
But, pushing the pile is just my opinion. What say you folks?
