You do not discuss any of this information outside of the General's Quarters on Volquest. Don't go running to TOS, the MB, etc.

WE'RE RAIDING FLORIDA:

Yes, Florida is turning into an Orange state thanks in large part to Eddie Gran. At this point all of the following are silent commits: Jeff Luc, Chaz Green, Corey Lemonier, Chaz Smith, and Matt Elam. Yes, Elam is a silent. Don't expect to hear an announcement for Elam. The plan is for him to show up on campus to start the Spring Semester and simply start school. Kiffin did this with Dewayne Jarrett at USC to keep the pressure off of him. It is nothing new.

By the way, Demar Dorsey did not make it on campus last weekend because the coaches told him we do not have room. Same thing goes for Cody Riggs, who tried to call and commit after the UGA game but we don't have room.

WHO IS HEADING OUT:

Room at the Inn is tight, and you can look for us to vacate some spots. Patrick Harris is already gone, he won't make the grades needed. Ralph Williams is also going to end up at Ole Miss as our coaches have slowed contact with him to encourage him to look elsewhere. Rissean Broussard also will not make the grades and word is that the staff has no plans to sign and place him at a JUCO. They do not want to create any connection to him in the event he does not pan out.

GETTING A PUSH...THE O-LINE:

Cullen is a Vol, done deal. Look for news there within the next two weeks. Juwaun James...not so much. He wants to be a Vol but his father and many of his family are die-hard UGA fans. They have him convinced he will start at UGA as a freshman and that Aaron Murray is a future Heisman winner. Morgan Moses will not go to Virginia...but he won't end up at UT either. Apparently he is heading to UNC as they have guaranteed him a starting position. James Stone has told many around him that he is leaning to Vanderbilt, surprisingly. Evidently the academics combined with the lower time requirements of athletes and early playing time have sold him. At least he won't be heading to Alabama. We are not looking too good on the O-line, and Kiffin is not happy about it.

We have heard that Damien Robinson and Shon Coleman are locks to UT....IF Kiffin takes them. If they show up for a visit for Memphis or Vandy, consider them Vols. The coaches are deciding if they want to bring them in...both are bigger than Kiffin's prototypical o-lineman and may not be mobile enough for him.

ANOTHER QB:

Barry Brunetti wants to jump on board, but the coaches don't think he fits. Look for him to stick to West Virginia. Chaney evaluated Simms and came away with the opinion that Simms would not provide them anything. Don't look for an offer there. The surprise here is that it looks like Aaron Corp from USC is trying to work things out to transfer to UT. Some behind the scenes expect Nick Stephens to stick around and be the guy next year after making huge strides this season on the practice field. That would leave the QB race wide open for the '11 season and Corp would battle Bray for that spot.

UNIFORMS...WE'RE TALKING UNIFORMS:

So the black jerseys went over well, very well (if you still have color left in your hair, or hair at all). Players loved it, recruits loved it, and most fans seemed to love it. The plan was to wear black pants and have black helmets also but neither were ready in time. Well, they're ready now. Look for the Vols to wear black pants and helmets against Memphis...but not the jerseys, there is a serious worry that going all black would really upsets a few key donors and that is not something Mike Hamilton wants to deal with.

SUPRISE RECRUITS:

This CANNOT, under no circumstances, get out. Sentreal Henderson is pencilled in to visit for the Vanderbilt game. I would have listed him under the o-line recruiting report but this is too good to drop in that section of downer. Coach O visited Henderson's school last week and seems to have secured a visit. Everyone is asking about Michael Dyer. Well, he tried to commit on his visit but Kiffin, surprisingly, told him to hold off and finish taking his visits. Two things here. First, they don't trust he will stay committed knowing he plans to take visits anyways and he seems to change his mind a lot. Secondly, they don't have him on top of their board and they evidently don't see him as a 5 star type guy. This leads me to the second surprise. Lache Seastrunk will be visiting...we just don't know when. He told Mike Farrell months ago that if not for Bryce Brown, he would already be a Vol after he visited this summer. The way Kiffin has used Hardesty and Brown has convinced Seastrunk that he would get solid playing time as a freshman and he also has not been impressed seeing Brown and thinks he can beat him out.

ARE WE DONE?

Almost. Kyle Prater. Yes, Kyle Prater. Want to know more? Ask Brent. He may give you a few hints...he may not. But just keep that name in mind.

That's it. Hope everybody enjoys the beatdown in Neyland on Saturday and has a good weekend. We'll let you know when we hear more
