I know this is a little premature ( my father, if he were still here , would tell me not to jinx anything by discussing a bowl before we had the bowl bid ),but if we do get the Gator /Taxslayer,how do the GQ experts rate the various beaches in JAX?
I was at the 94 and 2014/15. Games but stayed in Kingsland GA in 94, and had to make a quick trip in 2014 so I stayed one night downtown .I'm very familiar with Tampa and the other potential bowl sites ,but have never vacationed in Jacksonville .This year(knock on wood) I will be able to take my 11 year old daughter to a bowl and hopefully stay oceanfront for a few days if we play in FLA .It doesn't have to be the ritziest high end place but a safe atmosphere matters so I don't want the trashiest place either .Lean towards Fernandina/ Amelia Island based on what Ive read , but wondered if any of you had opinions on Jacksonville Beach ,Atlantic, Neptune ,Etc. and what the neighborhoods are like there.
