1. Starts with two 1960's made for TV matches on a show called All Star Golf. Arnie loses both (what the heck?), but picks up a big check of $1,000 for each one, with $2,000 to the winner. Anyone making an eagle pockets another $500.
2. Arnie hit several 300+ yd. drives with a balata ball and dinky persimmon head driver. That has to be a technology adjusted as long or longer distance than DJ hits it today.
3. Greens putt like my front yard would. Amazing how hard they had to pop it to get it to roll/hop 20 feet.
4. Announcer regularly explains details like a bogey is one over par, and a double bogey is two over par.
How times have changed.
