Where would you put the team we played last night in the rankings of the SEC. 1) Not even in the same league, 2) lower tier, 3) middle of the road, 4) upper half. What I saw last night was a team that might have been playing over their heads(Appy State) and a team that was under performing(UT). Throwing all that out they looked quicker and pound for pound meaner than the guys in Orange. Hopefully it was an anomaly but from where I sat, if you had put Oklahoma uniforms on Tennessee last night and Tennessee uniforms on App State, that game last night reminded me a lot of the game in Knoxville last year with the Sooners. Put it simply, there was too much that I saw just to chalk it up to a pesky lower division one team giving us a go. Either they are a very good team or we are not anywhere near where we need to be to compete with "the big boys". JMO.
