I know Butch somehow, someway, managed to get the 2018 class a high ranking early, in spite of the fact that he was bringing in a boatload of DUDS and I mean DUDS. Lots of injured players per usual.
But in the last week or so, it has been suggested that CJP might only covet a hand full of 2019 in state prospects. For months, we had been told that 2019 and 2020 were going to be great classes.
Was Butch and Bob Weldon feeding this bs to the recruiting gurus? What's the back story?
