What we needed was to beat USC and vandy. We lost and gave up 400 yards through the air to a vandy team that just got blown out by nc state. Nc state held them to 158 yards passing and got 3 ints.
We have a major problem now because butch can't recruit due to the negativity. He had two opportunities to win the east the last two years. He had the talent to do it both years, but failed and now he is suffering the consequences.
I think butch is a dead man walking. I have seen nothing the last two years that shows me he can learn from mistakes, develop players at a high level, and coach players up. I think his only chance are major staff upgrades and gurantano being an elite qb. We have to have a 10-2 type year next year and success we can sell hard in recruiting. We need a top 5 class in 2018 and an elite qb in that class.
