First off, I think the most obvious thing is that this defensive line has the potential to be special. You know what you have with Barnett and Maggitt, but Kyle Phillips is a good one and Dimarya Mixon has consistently improved throughout camp as well. Then, the interior guys are really good as well. Tuttle, McKenzie, Vickers, Williams and O'Brian should be a good rotation.

On the flip side, we didn't see Jack Jones and Jashon Robertson tonight as both were gingerly walking around the field. This offensive line is beat up right now, I think that's obvious. Brett Kendrick was nicked up as well. The coaches talk a lot about getting the right five but with guys coming in and out you just wonder how much continuity is there right now. This next week of practice is critical in my mind as they need to get healthy and find their five.

Elsewhere, Sutton and Moseley looked good at defensive back. You can really tell the extra weight really helps with Moseley as guys just can push him aside any more.

At linebacker, Bates and McDowell were out and we didn't see a lot of Reeves-Maybin as they are giving others reps. Kirkland looked good, but in several 11-on-11 situations, no one was there to make the tackle in the interior on a couple of dive plays. Certainly some concern there.

On offense, you can tell the passing game isn't as crisp as the coaches want it. Sure, it was just one practice, but the absence of North and Croom is noticeable in my opinion. Again, like the offensive line, they really need to find a rhythm. I did like what they got out of some receivers when the ball was in the right place. Malone had some nice catches, as did Ethan Wolf. Vincent Perry isn't talked about a lot but I really like him there. Jauan Jennings continues to progress in the right direction.

Finally at kicker, I thought Medley looked good. Punter, still inconsistencies there. More coming throughout the night.
