Watched his media availability this morning - wow he seems really mature and recognizes how much he can help the team just with defense and rebounding.
His last game against UNCG was easily his best outing IMO. Not just for his 12 pts in 16 minutes but thought he really played well defensively -he gives us so much more on that end than Uros. The fact he played that well and is now made available to the media as we are on the cusp of the toughest stretch of our schedule tells me we should expect to see much more of him heading into conference play.
Obviously we knew he was talented but definitely got overlooked in the class bc of Chandler and his late reclassification. Trying to think of a good comparison and I keep thinking a bigger Wayne Chism. I know it’s been beaten to death on this board but man we have to let this kid play a ton the rest of the year.
