All I see on the board is how bad our recruiting is this year. let's talk about recruiting on the defense 1st. We have 5 four-star recruits. I don't see any of those that we want to process. That leaves the 3 stars. Who/whom of the following, and why, need to be processed. Jackson, Page, Bembry, Labruzza, Butler, Johnson, Henderson, Shamburger, Reid and Crosby. Four of those guys are 5.7's.
Are you going to cut Reid who is a 5.5?
On offense: (1) we have 3 excellent offensive lineman, (2) we have 3 high potential wide receivers (3) a serviceable quarterback (4) a top 10 running back a shot at the number 2 running back and (5) a good-looking tight end prospect.
We have the player ranked number 1 in the country by one recruiting service and are ranked in the top 10 by the recruiting service were all paying for.
I admit if we were playing in the sugar bowl or the SEC championship game we would probably have landed a couple of more highly rated folks. I just don't simply see why this class is being made out to be a disaster.
