We never had any real shot at Trevor Lawrence.
I just finished watching the highlight film of Martinez, Fields and Emory Jones and wow they are all very talented. Then I turn on the Lawrence film again and dayymn. . . Lawrence is a freak plain and simple. If we weren't just flat out told, "I'm never going to consider Tennessee" then no one. . .no one should have been prioritized over Lawrence. Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and Blind Mellow Jelly could be the recruiters on this one and not screw it up. Again, please tell me that Lawrence said "screw off" and that the Vols staff didn't make the choice to prioritize anyone else. Please.
