I've been piggy-backing on a relative's account for about 10 years, but finally decided to forgo a few mortgage payments to join with my own account (I'm a poor). I've never weighed in on any threads out of courtesy for him, but I'm familiar with the landscape (I've trusted Matt and Powell for my weather updates for the better part of a decade and always enjoy the Zen-like wisdom that Ma provides). I've also seen that any post can take a religious or political turn and get out of hand QUICKLY. I chose my screen name because, yes, I have a Jeep, but mostly because all 73 other names I tried were already taken.

I'm 34 years old, married for a little over two years (been together almost 6). She is a great cook, has a great heart, is very smart and funny, but she could be Janet Reno's twin, so I take no offense if you want me to break the pic rule and leave her out. I have 7 kids (none with her) from 5 previous relationships, but I don't have anything to do with any of them other than the occasional birthday card when I can remember.

I graduated from UTC (I know, I know, it's not Harvard, but hey, we've gotta play the hand we're dealt and my ACT score (15) didn't exactly earn me invites to a lot of tables). I love the Vols, but probably love the Atlanta Braves more. My favorite band is the Allman Brothers, with Kenny G and Yanni coming in at a close 2a and 2b. I enjoy collecting and playing guitars, playing golf (mostly in my yard because again, I'm a poor). I work out daily - supplemented by ample doses of whey and dianabol - in hopes of getting on the cover of Men's Health (I've sent numerous photos but they've politely told me to go find something else to do).

I work the early shift at Bojangles to provide the hard-working peoples of Chattanooga those savory Cajun filet biscuits. I also dance at a club called Alan Gold's a few nights a week to make ends meet. My bride works maintenance at the community pool in the summer and drives a salt truck during the winter, so we get along okay. We're trying to save enough to get out of her mom's basement and get a place of our own.

Anyway, my strawberry Pop-tarts are almost out of the toaster and I'm about to dominate some mouthy kid in a high-stakes game of Minecraft. I'll check back here later.
