I never have a source, but I was told off the record by a writer that I know who writes for on one of the other recruiting sites that Ford's scholarship was pulled because the Tennessee coaches feel that they have Richmond in the bag. The writer was told this because he is close with Ford's high school coach. Don't know if the reliability of the information, but it's certainly more smoke between Tennessee and Richmond.
