Two U.S. senators at the center of the college athlete compensation debate on Capitol Hill are reintroducing a sweeping bill that would give college players the right to transfer an unlimited amount, return to school after entering a professional draft and access to lifetime scholarships.

NBC has already pushed the idea of combining Big Ten telecasts with its existing Notre Dame coverage as a "perfect one-two punch." Now, as rights negotiations with the conference near the finish line, NBC is proposing a strategy that calls for back-to-back, prime-time Big Ten and NFL games on Saturday and Sunday nights, said sources.

Tuberville (R-Ala.), a former college football coach who led Auburn to an undefeated season in 2004, and Manchin (D-W.Va.) announced Wednesday that their staffs have already begun drafting a NIL bill that they said will be in compliance.
