Michele Kang, a message issued hours after Baldwin announced he would resign as the club's CEO and managing partner at the players' request.   • Golfers Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka will compete head-to-head in the fifth installment of Turner Sports' "The Match" at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas on Nov. 26, the culmination of a public feud between the two American golfers that dates back to January 2019. Both players will be mic'd up during the 12-hole match, the first in the made-for-TV series that won't include Phil Mickelson as a competitor, and Turner broadcasters Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson are expected to be on the call. Stephen A. Smith, Michael Wilbon, Jalen Rose and Magic Johnson will reportedly join Greenberg on "Countdown" ahead of ESPN's premier NBA matchups. (New York Post)

Texas associate athletic director Arthur Johnson to be named Temple's AD

Texas executive senior associate athletic director Arthur Johnson, who has been at Texas for the last 11 years, will be named the athletic director at Temple University on Thursday, a source close to the search process said. Johnson has served as Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte's right hand man, overseeing several areas, most notably athletic facilities and operations.

AAC still exploring expansion options

Big-market schools, such as UAB, UTSA, Charlotte and North Texas, are among those that have been linked to the American Athletic Conference's expansion efforts. Each of those schools bring huge enrollments in big cities. Just how valuable those markets are remains debatable, though.

NCAA D-I Council approves 1-year signing limits waiver to account for transfers

The NCAA's Division I Council voted Tuesday to approve a one-year waiver that will allow college football programs to increase the 2022 signing class limit by up to seven additional spots. The decision will officially take effect at the conclusion of Wednesday's council meeting.
