The CFP-defining SEC Championship delivered 15.3 million viewers for CBS on late Saturday afternoon, as Alabama throttled Georgia 41-24. That marks the most-watched title game for any conference since the same teams played in the 2018 SEC Championship. Bama-UGA in the 2012 title game averaged 16.2 million.

On Wednesday, the network announced that Kornacki would appear on the pregame show before Week 14's Bears-Packers matchup, and would be a part of each week's Football Night in America through the end of the regular season.

NCAA Updates Draft Constitution After Special Convention

The National Collegiate Athletic Association announced a number of revisions to its draft constitution Tuesday, including broader language surrounding athletes' name, image and likeness opportunities and an emphasis on protecting student athlete well-being as a shared responsibility across higher education. The new draft states "student-athletes may not be compensated by a member institution for participating in a sport, but may receive educational and other benefits in accordance with guidelines established by their NCAA division."
