3 weeks ago Alabama lost their starting safety Eddie Jackson for the year. In an effort to get their BEST 5 they moved Minkah Fitzpatrick from Nickel to safety, instead of putting a worse player at safety and keeping Minkah at nickel.
Now we get to us. We are rolling out Todd Kelly all year who is a snail. He gets hurt and we bring in Griffin who misses 3 tackles in 10 minutes and is also slow.
Why is Gaulden not getting moved to safety like Alabama did with Minkah? We have plenty of capable CBs. Hell Foreman can just slide into nickel. This staff has done a piss poor job of coaching these guys and cross training them at multiple positions. It's despicable we have to roll out Griffin and Gaulden instead of Gaulden and Foreman. Time to take off the training wheels.
