Debord. Freakin' Debord.

On my third viewing of the game, I noticed Coach Shoop celebrating (with great restraint) in the coaches booth when Florida failed on 4th down on the 6 yard line. Notice it? He turns to Debord who hasn't moved an inch in any of the shots they showed on tv. He doesn't move this time either. What does Debord do? He starts looking at his play sheet.....

Mike is an old school guy who flat called himself one hell of a ball game. He has done it before and we will see it again because these kids (receivers, quarterback, and o-line) are getting their legs. Several of the players commented that there were few changes to the offense during half time. Also, they said they have to bring it like they do in practice during a football game. They just learned how that feels to do it in a very high pressure situation.

More changes are coming but fans and media should realize that these coaches are not dumb and get off their back. They protect these kids and they certainly realize what they can do and cannot do and they are starting to let them fly (the players are finally learning how to spread their wings).

Go Big O.
