I got to hear Coach Fulmer speak again tonight. He shared a story about Eric Berry when asked about some of his greatest players. He talked about how EB was kind of quiet but was a great leader in the locker room because he led by example. He said early in Eric's career he was in a car with some friends and the friends were doing some things that Eric did not approve of (he did not elaborate on what they were doing) and EB made them stop the car on the side of the interstate and let him out. Eric then called one of the assistant coaches to come pick him up. CPF couldn't say enough about what kind of example that was to the other players when they found out about it. EB showed that he wasn't going to let peer pressure derail him and he is and always has been a great ambassador for the University of Tennessee. Just wanted to share that story. GBO!
