Brady and Montana are absolutely in the top 5-7 discussion based on their rings, but Montanas greatness and importance has to be diminished a little with what Young was able to do immediately following him. Unfortunately for Brady the same scenario has to apply, he has operated in the greatest system we have ever seen. Their record without him is something no logical person can ever ignore if they are being honest with themselves. The advanced analytics ant he ignored either, their defensive and special teams efficiencies blow away what Manning had to deal with for his career.
