OFFENSIVE NOTES
* I think all 3 backup freshmen QBs have chances to be really good but I love Jauan Jennings, excellent young man and I think he wins the backup job, glad he was an early enrollee
* Will be interesting to see if Paulk is reinstated, which would help with depth, him & Ralph David Abernathy would compete for that third back spot
* So much talent in the WR corps, our top two slot guys graduate after this year, so it will be interesting to see who takes that spot after this year, could be 2016 guy Mecole Hardman who our staff is pursuing very hard
* Our OLine finally has some depth that makes you not worry 24/7, I brought this up last week but why not attempt to redshirt Weisman since he will be a junior this year and Raulerson/Coleman Thomas could help cover the center spot while Mack Crowder starts but if you absolutely need Weisman, burn the redshirt
* The OGuard spots are interesting also because I think Kerbyson & Jackson will battle for that LG starting job and Robertson should hold down RG for the rest of his collegiate career, Mosley will provide depth as well and it's good that we finally have enough depth to possibly redshirt Boulware and Stewart
* I picked Blair to win the starting LT job but I'm extremely high on Richmond, I really think he will push and maybe get that LT job and could also help at RTackle if needed
* I believe that Chance Hall or Jack Jones will be redshirted, one of them, most likely Hall
DEFENSIVE NOTES
* It is almost 100% that Danny O'Brien will start at DTackle and the other spot is up for grabs & I'll give it to Kahlil, who might be the best player in the class of 2015
* I expect either Tuttle or Picou to redshirt and I do believe Andrew Butcher will RS as well, all 3 look promising for the future
* Kendal Vickers could contribute at either DEnd or DTackle considering the weight he has put on
* LaTroy Lewis seems to have a promising two years left at UT and in my opinion, was one of the most improved players on the roster last year, he will have even a bigger role with this team
* Kyle Phillips is an unreal talent and reminds me a lot of Derek Barnett, he will get reps on the field eventually this season barring that his shoulder stays healthy
* Saulsberry most likely won't be able to play this year due to his health but will be around the program, he is a VFL
* UTSports.com has Jakob Johnson listed as a DLineman, so I think he will play DEnd instead of MLB, we have enough MLBs
* I put Maggitt as the starting DEnd but it is so difficult to project because he could play the OLB spot and have Vareen start at the DEnd spot opposite of Barnett, either way, Curt is going to have a huge role with this defense
* JRM is a definite starter and will be All-SEC this year, such a good football player
* Cortez McDowell is going to have an impact eventually, whether it's this year or next but he looked good on special teams last year, his high school film is still fun to go back and watch, excellent hitter
* I threw in a wild card and put Weatherd as a starting OLB even though many believe he can't be a true OLB but just a rush end or rush backer but I think Chris gets the start at that spot as a senior and has a good year
* Elliott Berry will most likely get valuable reps at outside linebacker this year
* Our six main corners: Sutton, Martin, Moseley, Evan Berry, Lemond Johnson, and Malik Foreman all make me feel comfortable, each of them have a good skill set, I think Martin is an immediate impact, that guy is unbelievable
* Our nickel IMO will either be Rashaan Gaulden or Emmanuel Moseley
* I think we start two seniors at safety, Randolph is a given but I feel as if McNeil beats out a very talented Todd Kelly Jr, TK could end up starting though midway through the season, he played very well last year
* I went ahead and put Bates as our starting MLB even though we could stick JRM there or even Maggitt (like Fulmer did with Leonard Little), Darrin Kirkland Jr should get on the field in a valuable capacity this upcoming year, his film really impressed me
* We can't forget about Gavin Bryant but he needs to get it going, I hope to see something from him this year
SPECIAL TEAM NOTES
* Townsend is such a vital piece this year and let's hope he can be a weapon for us just like Alabama's freshman punter JK Scott, who was a frosh last year
* Medley is solid, very good kicker
* I'm guessing Bullock does kickoffs
* I believe Cam Sutton will again be our punt returner
* Evan Berry and Ralph David Abernathy are a lethal duo
* Giampapa will be our LS in his final year on The Hill and then Lovingood takes a redshirt and will be our LS for the next 4 years
OVERALL NOTES
* I try to never expect hardly anything from freshmen because I know how hard it is to transition to the college game and the expectations can be ridiculous but I'm looking for Kahlil McKenzie to hold down that DTackle spot
* It feels great to finally be able to comfortably redshirt freshmen due to our depth (but that could change because of injuries)
* I'm hoping for an SEC title berth, would be amazing
* The way Butch Jones has upgraded this roster is just unbelievably awesome
