will be successful because of something that Coach Phil Fulmer use to say . . . "we have talented players but we don't have enough 'difference makers' mixed in with the talent". I truly believe team 119 has at minimum 4 difference makers on Offense and 4 or more on defense.
I can't think of another team on the schedule that I feel that is true of not named Alabama. On offense I think we have Hurd, Kamara, Dobbs and (I can't believe I'm saying this given that he hasn't played a down but it looks like) Jennings will be as well. And certainly North, Wolf and Malone have the potential to be DMs as well.
And on Defense obviously Barnett, Maggitt, Sutton are already huge difference makers and Reeves-Maybin is right there. And there are so many potentially DMs in Phillips, Khalil, Shy Tuttle, Moseley, Martin, Kirkland, and I think Evan Berry and TK Jr. have to be added on there as well as TK Jr. made some DM type plays as a freshman.
Obviously I don't know the rosters of all of Vol opponents as well as Tennessee's roster but if I run down the list:
Oklahoma: Perine, Striker, Sanchez & Shepard, possibly Neal
Florida: Hargreaves, Tabor, Brian Cox Jr.
Arkansas: Alex Collins, The O-line, Hunter Henry & potentially Bijhon Jackson
Georgia: Chubb, Jordan Jenkins, Leonard Floyd, John Theus potentially Lorenzo Carter, Sony Michel, Trenton Thompson
Alabama: (They have more than Tennessee and I'm not disputing that so no need to list half of their team here)
Kentucky: IMHO they have none potentially Patrick Towles
South Carolina: Pharoh Cooper
Missouri: Hansbrough possibly Evan Boehm
Vanderbilt: Ralph Webb
If Coach Fulmer is correct then we have a shot to have a really good season.
