Sometimes team and player rankings don't mean so much! Take Utah for instance. They are constantly ranked around 30 year after year. They were #33 in 2018, #36 in 2019, #30 in 2020 and #31 in 2022. But last year they won the PAC 12 conference with a record of 10-3 and just barely lost to Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. Now I realize that the PAC 12 is not the SEC, but they constantly field an outstanding team with what we would call average players. The mighty Gators will see how good they are because the Utah Utes will be playing them in the Swamp early in the year.
