I like the news so far regarding the defense and typically they are ahead of the offense at this point on most teams. However; I'm hoping that our defense this year is really special. I think we have the players and coaching to achieve that, they just need to go out and do it. Would love to see us dominate Florida and Georgia with our defense. Kongbo, Barnett, Maybin, Phillips, Kirkland, Sutton, Kelly, McKenzie, Tuttle, Gaulden, Moseley and Foreman (just to name a few).
Don't get me wrong I'm hoping for improvement at the QB and WR positions on offense and to see the OL grow more and to see us be more consistent overall on offense but if our defense can turn it up a couple of notches we could be really really good. At least that's what I'm hoping for. I know we are thin at LB and you will have injuries but really think overall our depth is now good to very good across the board (and I didn't even mention special teams).
