We are no longer an elite program but Butch Jones has brought us back to a respectable level. I think he is the best coach in the East even though he hasn't beaten Muschamp head to head or despite McElwain winning the East for a second year in a row.
Butch is a good coach but not a great one; he is as good as it gets for us. Firing him or him leaving is not the answer. He is not a championship level coach but he will get us 8-10 wins per year and we will always have the anticipation of "next year is the year."
