Where are the 15-0 folks?
I am with the realistic crowd. I have watched so much UT football over the years I know what I see. This almost looks like @ Auburn in 2008.
We are not a top tier football team;
Based on what? Rivals recruiting rankings? "Ain't too shabby" type players are not game breakers. Tell me ONE game where any one of those WRs you mentioned dominated a game and/or have shown great speed. You watch recruiting and think that means they are all great players. It doesn't work that way.
To be quite honest even Kamara hasn't proven to be some type of NFL prospect. That is harsh and he hasn't been given a lot of chances, but it is what it is.
You also mentioned Kelly. Seriously? Again you have to prove you are a "game breaker" by doing it on the field in a game. To be fair the jury is still out on a couple of those names, so we will see.

I never thought I would say this but I'm ready for the Dobbs era to end. I absolutely hate the fact that we cannot throw the ball.

We are not a top tier football team;
Agree. We are a Top 15-20 team I think. We are not going to be in the Final 4 playoff this year for sure. At this point I would be thrilled with 10-2 and would take 9-3 right now with a win over FL.
Dobbs has won us a lot of games, but he could sign a 10 year contract and still not be a great passer when he's 30. We also don't have game breakers at WR. There are no Stallworth's, Kent's, Gault's, etc on the roster. We also lack speed at RB IMO even though we have a battering ram.

The 5-0 start is great and it has been a fun year so far, but...
Seriously, what happens next year without Dobbs. This guy is our offense. When he's on we look great and when he's off we have no hope. He is clearly the team's MVP.
If you don't want to talk about next year, fine just ignore my post, but I hope Guarantano has a lot of Dobbs' qualities and can play right away as a RS freshman.
JUST MY OPINION, but I don't see us ever doing much with Dormady offensively.

I am very amused by his dislike for Dobbs and his brilliant talent evaluations for so many months and now suddenly Josh Dobbs is the best player on the team and the savior of UT football and MVP.
You can't run away from the archives @TennesseeVol . Maybe you should cancel your account or change your user handle---that idea has worked well for buffvol, lucas McCain, Cledus and an entire army of simpletons before you that tried to fool us with a name change. *rolleyes*
