we were outstanding in defense oneils first year and we started 6'0, 6'0,6'0, 6'4 and 6'7".....that was the smallest ut team i have ever seen and they were great in half court man to man.....i like the matchup zone a lot but the bottom line is we are not defending as well as we could be.....i think it is a very good defense to run but the players are not stopping the dribble or getting out on the shooters quick enough.....we have enough length on the wings that we should be doing better than we are right now.....the irony in this whole thing is we are getting lit up on our home floor more than we are on the road.....our inability to play well at home is the big thing that happened to this season.....we lost several home games to teams we should not have and a big part of it was not only our inability to defend but our inability to shoot either.....if this team had played anywhere near as well at home as it did on the road we would be looking at a different outcome.......we just played awful at home on both ends of the floor in the sec
