....last three games against average teams in beyond my scope of comprehensive. We made Kentucky, Missouri and Vandy look like high level NFL offenses. Injuries were a problem, players like Sutton and Kirkland that returned from injuries were not at the same level as before their injuries but still we should not have been riddled on the ground and through the air like we have seen. The backups to injured starters and the backups to injured backups to injured starters should have been able to come in and not have such a huge drop off. There has to be more of a problem behind the scene that we will become aware of one day. Our DC in one season cannot go from a highly thought of DC will seasons of proven strong defenses on his resume to a defensive coordinator of the product we have seen this year which is a total defensive collapse. I mean our defense turned into a poor high school defense. Either the assistant defensive coaches cannot comprehend Sloop's defensive schemes which causes a problem in teaching the players or the players just don't buy into the system. I guess I am just rambling because I just cannot comprehend what I have seen from 120. It makes me question my sanity for spending the money for season tickets, the 14 hr round trip to go to a game, the money for hotels (jacked up game weekend prices), gas, food and loss of business income for the days I travel. The only thing is I love my college, I guess that is the justification right there.
