QB play which leads into passing game. That is where you win when it comes to elite vs elite.

Everything else was even or UGA had an edge in.

Defensively UGA was better at every level than Alabama.

Special teams- UGA whose punter is 1 of the top 3 or so in the country.

Offensive lines- both really good and UGA probably a touch more dominant but case could be made for a push.

RB- edge UGA

TE- edge UGA who has the best in the country in Bowser and Washington/Fitz off bench.

They got run off the field because Alabama had elite QB play. A guy who could minimize their pass rush because his mobility. A team that was better or even everywhere except 1 position got boat raced. That score was helped by a cheap UGA TD late as well. Alabama also sat on the ball to end the game.

When you have a QB who can pick you apart it doesn’t really matter as much how good you are defensively. Just can’t do a lot against a big timer.

This group of WRs is probably the worst Alabama has had in over 5 years. I get that is relative to when it comes to Bama but it is reality.

Had this been the Alabama passing game from the last 3 years they probably score 50 to 60 points. They played 3 quarters without Menchie who wasn’t even in the rotation recently.

QB play fellas. Josh Heupel!!!!!! Buckle up. We are gonna get there. Where we score because there just isn’t much the defense can do.
