I have become a despicable poster. I am toxic. There is a toxicity feedback loop here for which I am a part.

I need to do better. I didn't use to be this way. Part of that is stepping away from my main hobby of the last 15-years, this board (will always continue to support Brent with a sub). My mental health is suffering.

No one is at fault here other than myself. The environment on the GQ is a natural progression of the current state of our football program, and no amount of moderation can "fix" it.

Before I attempt to make the case to the VQ staff in email, would anyone be interested in seeking refuge on a renewed basketball-only board?

The current basketball board is not linked on the forums page. If you were to Google it, you would not know there is a basketball forum associated with VolQuest unless you are aware of the orange blazer tradition that Barnes decided in 2016 should no longer be a tradition.

Being a basketball power is new to Tennessee. We are still figuring it out. But as of right now, our two programs are on the opposite ends of the spectrum and it feels unfortunate that I, being insecure in my own personal life, cannot come here to discuss basketball without getting caught up in all the negativity surrounding football at this time.

Appreciate your thoughts.
