Hard to believe that was almost 8 years ago. Was thinking about it watching all this rain the last few days. Probably most surreal few days of my life. I remember standing in a lightening storm the second day dropping metal conduit into the pilings of my in laws’ dock because it, along with the boat, was about to float off into Old Hickory Lake.
Also remember getting the last water pump you could rent at the Hendersonville Home Depot and driving it to my parents’ house in Green Hills to pump about two feet of water out of my parents’ basement.
