Several liberal cable commentators claim that Trump is sacrificing the “Greatest Generation” for Boeing.
First of all, The Greatest Generation were those born from 1901-1927. They would be between 92 and 119 years old. There are precious few of those left. Of those left (which includes my 98 year old mother-in- law), most are in some kind of care system and those facilities are in lockdown status.
Trying to score political points on the backs of this truly remarkable generation is insulting.
incidentally, trying to help companies like Boeing, is not aimed at propping up their profits, but trying to protect the 145,000 employees that work for Boeing and all the derivative subcontractors that support those kinds of companies.
