I was going to attend the Ole Miss game. I don't attend many games anymore, but I am getting pretty stoked about this team and coaching staff. I think the atmosphere for that game will be incredible. I was going to get a room for Friday and Saturday night. There's not much available in Knoxville so I had decided to stay in Kodak. $354/night at the Fairfield Inn. Wow!
I am a free market guy and understand how the supply/demand thing works. If your gonna play, you gotta pay. I am also a cheap ass, so I'll probably just stay home and watch it on the big screen. I must admit I am a little disappointed though. I was looking forward to reliving my 15 years of having season tickets in the 90s and early 2000s and all the great games and great atmospheres I experienced in K'town.
By the way the last game I attended in person was the Oklahoma game in 2016 I think. What a great atmosphere! I'm hoping that can be duplicated against Ole Miss.
