Why continue to play the SEC Tournament?

The NCAA is supposed to be about the consistent regulation and guidance for college sports to create a level playing field, since it appears nothing you accomplish after the conference season ends means anything, why risk injury to your players, why not rest them, why not save the fans money traveling?

Rob brought up moving the SEC Tournament Dates to accommodate the Selection Committe, why doesn't the Selection Committee move the Selection Date to accommodate all the Conference Championship Games?

How is a gutsy team like TX A&M going to play their way in, if Sunday's Championship is of no consequence.

We could have lost Chandler with ankle issues going into Post Season Play, for what?
