We are just at the very beginning of the inception and usage of the NIL.
Boosters are throwing millions of dollars around like it’s monopoly money to land players at their college of choice.
What happens when many of these players are injured and can never play another down again but all this money is being spent on them to make a difference.
What happens when many of these players don’t live up to the hype and don’t contribute much of anything to helping these teams get better despite spending millions of dollars on them?
Will these same boosters continue to spend millions of dollars on players after seeing that much of their money has been wasted on players who never lived up to their billing or were injured most of their time at their college?
I think it’s gonna be interesting to see what happens.
