I played college ball with a guy from Knoxville, he got me hooked on the Vols in the early '90's....started following religiously and attending 100's of games with the wife and eventually kids...

I have been to lots of college environments, Michigan, OSU, Florida, Auburn, Penn State, FSU, Kensucky, Notre Dame, Texas, Oklahoma....I could go on.

Folks, there is NOTHING like Neyland Stadium on a crisp fall day, the colors, the river, the size of that place, the Vol walk, Vol Navy, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, the mountains, hospitality and the surrounding city and the fans with the tailgating, etc. No other program can hold a candle to this at any other place I have ever been. And I am not a biased homer....no connection to UT before but I fell in love with the place many years ago and I played FCS college football....If I were a 4-5 star guy that had the chance to go to Tennessee, it's not even close between those other places...I would be a Vol.

Makes me sick to my stomach that an inept administration and AD staff over 15+ years have rendered us to be what we are right now. Tennessee football should literally be a top 5 program every year just based on facilities, location and tradition. What a travesty bad college administrators (like politicians) have done to an American treasure and top 10 program all time....I hope there are brighter days ahead, but this should never have happened.
