to be sustainable...and totally changes the recruiting landscape, makes ya bullish on the Vols looking forward IMO.... Regardless whether you like Butch or not, UT football's stock is rising long term as a result and better days (FBS playoff days) almost certainly lie ahead. Even if we have to make a coaching change in the next couple years, this program should be able to draw a top-notch HC/staff more so than almost any other time. Hell, a local talent base is all we've ever been missing....and all of the sudden it's popped-up in our backyard. Just watch, over the next 5-10 yrs....we're likely to be experiencing a lot of success and look back at this period as when we finally moved to an equal footing (or nearly so) with programs like UGA, LSU, UF relative to natural resources.... Of course, we're not going to be able to keep them all, but we're at the very front of the line as far as getting the lion's share every year.....and the inevitable impact cannot be overstated........
