Look I love the guy as a person, shed a grown man tear at his retirement PC, but there is nobody to blame but ourselves for the current dumpster fire of a football program at UT. The big mean sports media wasn’t shitting on the hire just to kick a program while it’s down, from an unbiased perspective this is exactly where everyone thought we were headed. Fulmer and this football staff are on life support now, just drawing out the inevitable. We need to hire an established AD and pay up for someone to navigate this truly unique Athletic Department, someone with visions for the future of UT football where we use our national reach to go some kind of unique high octane or pro-style that doesn’t rely on the bigger bodies we will never have to defeat the schools to the South of us.
