I know it's been a while but it's been eating at me a little bit.
In his presser on Monday or Tuesday, he was asked about the run game defense and he absolutely Lit up the defense, talking about how unacceptable it is, blah blah
What I don't understand is how our offensive game plan gets a pass and there is no statement made about how pathetic our offensive gamelan was? Why wasn't the offensive performance Unacceptable?
With 9 mins to go in 3rd it was 21-7, and the offense gave Bama 7 of their points and the defense gave the offense their only 7 points.....
How in the world do u come out of that game and go off on the defense and give the offense a pass?
Injuries are no excuse because both sides of the ball have a ton of them and I'd argue the defense has more significant injuries.
If I'm Shoop, I'd be pissed about that stance, because with 9 minutes to go in the 3rd, the defense had played as good as u could ever have expected in that situation and the offensive debacle finally broke their back!
