Went to the recruiting celebration at LP Field. It was great meeting some of the other VFLs in person. Always a pleasure to hear and see Coach Jones, Z, and Jancek talk about the recruits...........While the Nashville skyline was great, and I'm sure part of it had to do with the opening day at LP, I hope they move it back to a hotel (Hilton, Omni) or Music City Center.
While the seating was first come, first serve and I sat towards the front, the tables work much better. It reminded me of a church in a gym or something sitting on fold out chairs, and hearing the prophet spread his message. We were stacked on each other like a bunch of sardines. The food was less than stellar as well. What else was frustrating was that there were no big screens to watch the highlight films (yes as most of you, I've watched them 1000s of times) so if you were sitting anywhere other than right in front of them, you couldn't see.
Yes, it was a good value for 20.00, but just some observations.
