After reading the WR and watching some of the video here are my three takeaways.
1. In case anyone has not realized it, Kade Mayes is an alpha dog of the greatest proportions. This young man might just end up being one of those rare players that are feared by opponents. We need that.
2. Lamont Wade is beyond his years in terms of technique and speed. Watch that film and look at the difference between Wade and all the other DBs with how he turns his hips, gets his head around, and with his closing speed. We need to seal the deal with this one. My bold prediction is that he will replace Cam Sutton from day one.
3. Rutger has a great motor with some violent hands and is faster than I realized. After a couple of years in our weight room he could be a solid piece of our DT rotation much like DO was. We have got to reel him in as well.
