This is to honor my 79 known family members (direct ancestors & cousins) who served in the military/militia, including 54 in combat, especially those KIA and WIA.
I know/knew over 20 of these, I am so proud of all of them.

To my 3 brothers
To my 8 late uncles, 7 who served in combat (3 in Europe, 1 in the Pacific, 2 in Korea, 1 in Vietnam)
To my cousin KIA on the carrier Hornet in WW2, 6Oct1942, by Japanese air attack, and to the other 6, including my G3 grandfather, KIA or died while in combat from injuries/illness
To my cousin WIA in Korea during a Chinese Army attack
To my cousin WIA in the Pacific ( Fourth Marine Division, including Iwo Jima assault)
To my cousin who has experienced Agent Orange related cancer (Vietnam infantry tour)

A special recognition to my mother who had 4 sons in the military, 3 during the Vietnam war.

And a very, very special recognition to my grandmother who had 5 sons and a grandson in WW2, Korea. She also had 7 more grandsons in the military after her death, one a combat infantryman in Vietnam, another with a Vietnam campaign ribbon.
