I'm going to work off the assumption that everybody who can return and is getting plenty of playing time will return. Obviously it's unlikely that all will.

QB - We should be better. Hooker will return. Milton will return unless he's cool with playing at the FCS level.

RB- everybody returns so we should be improved

WR - worse with the losses of Velvus and Payton, and potentially Hyatt according to the mods.

TE - everybody returns so better

OL - have to say worse since we lose Cade, but with everybody else eligible to return, we could be improved depending on who we bring in and how much year 2 I'm the system means to returning guys

DE - we lose Blakely and Tremblay so I guess I have to go worse here. We lack bodies. But with Young and Baron both back, a guy like Eason's development is huge. Need to hit the portal here.

DT: similar to DE in that we lose Butker and Bumphus, so.i guess I have to say worse but I don't think that's a given. We return a solid core of Simmons, Omari Thomas, Terry, and Garland. Depending on who we bring in through the portal and hopefully Nolen, we could be improved here.

LB: should be better, as we return everybody and should add guys via the portal

Secondary: if everybody who is eligible to returns actually returns, I think we'll be improved. I'm pretty sure only Theo Jackson has to leave.

The portal is a game changer. There are some position groups that look to be weaker on pPsr next year, but most of them are in position to actually improve depending on who we get in the portal.
