Well, it's pretty clear it wasn't the Big 10. OSU, UMich, PSU, Iowa, Nebraska all lost and Wisconsin had to play a mid major to get a win.
Was it the ACC? Clemson might be the best team in the country. FSU, Ga. Tech, UNC, Va. Tech all had solid seasons.
SEC showed top level strength with Bama, LSU, UGA, and UF, but the SEC bowl record was about .500
Pac 10? Washington showed that they had a pretty solid D. USC was hot at year's end.
